Here's how a blood test runs in your pharmacy – from the first conversation with the customer to the finished report. The steps of the draw itself are in How to draw blood with the Tasso.
The customer comes in with a concern – fatigue, heart, vitamin status, thyroid. Together you pick the right panel from the list: an affordable quick check as an entry point, or a large panel as an all-round assessment.
The draw is done with the Tasso, a small device that draws painlessly from the upper arm. The two most important moves: warm the upper arm for two minutes beforehand and have the customer drink a glass of water – a warm, well-perfused arm gives blood, a cold one doesn't. Expect three to four minutes until the tube is full. Afterwards you enter the barcode in the admin panel and confirm the blood draw.

As soon as the blood draw is confirmed in the admin panel, we know the sample is ready. We take care of the pickup: every evening we check which samples are ready and have them collected by the next working day at the latest; Aniva handles shipping to the accredited lab. The lab runs the analysis, a doctor reviews the report including critical values, and the result appears in the admin panel – under the “Table” tab, where every blood draw sits as a row. The row has to be expanded via the arrow on its left, and the report sits inside as a PDF. The calendar only shows the appointments, not the values. The report is usually ready within 48–72 hours after the sample is collected. That gives you a solid basis for advising the customer further.

People who come in for a blood test often buy micronutrients or a consultation on top. A follow-up check after about six months turns the one-off purchase into recurring revenue and ties the customer to your pharmacy.
What if a value is abnormal?
The report is doctor-reviewed and critical values are flagged. The customer takes it to their doctor – so you become a referrer, not a competitor to the physicians.
What does the test cost me?
You pay the fixed price (see price list) and sell at the recommended price – the difference is your margin. You only pay per test; there's no base fee and no subscription. All costs are included in the purchase price – including the Tasso devices and the shipping material.
