The starter kit contains everything you need for the first tests. Here's what each item is and what you use it for – so nothing is left over that you can't place.
The essentials: device and tubes
3 × Tasso – the device for the draw. Goes on the upper arm, one device per test.
4 × yellow serum tube – for all values except blood sugar. This is the tube you'll need almost every time.
1 × purple EDTA tube – only for long-term blood sugar (HbA1c).
For every panel, one tube filled to the topmost mark is enough – no matter what number the admin panel shows. Both tube types get turned ten times top to bottom and back right after the draw, never shaken.
For skin and dressing
1 × skin disinfectant (Cutasept F, 50 ml, colourless) – spray on the upper arm before the draw and let it dry for 10 seconds before placing the Tasso.
5 × injection plaster – for the puncture site after the draw.
For shipping
3 × sample bag with absorbent insert – the tube goes in here, then press the adhesive seal shut. The absorbent insert is required for transport.
3 × white shipping pouch – the sample bag goes in here, then pull off the red strip and seal it. Several sample bags may share one pouch.
Nothing needs to be written on the tube or the shipping pouch – no name, no address, no pharmacy name. The match runs exclusively via the barcode you enter in the admin panel.
What isn't in the starter kit
Your login details for the admin panel – those come by onboarding email.
The return label – the courier brings it, you don't need to print anything.
A heat pack – firm rubbing and tapping is enough to warm the arm. If you grab one off your own shelf, all the better: a warm arm is the single most important factor for a good result.
